Prior to joining MortgageOne in May of 2026 as Vice President of Retail Operations, Kevin has been a respected veteran in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. Previously holding leadership roles at Starkey Mortgage, Supreme Lending, Academy Mortgage, Willow Bend Mortgage, and most recently with Lone Star National Bank.

In addition to active participation in local, state, and national Mortgage Bankers’ Associations, where he served on various committees and boards at all levels, he served as President of the Fort Worth Mortgage Bankers’ Association in 2013 and 2014.

Additionally, Kevin authored and presented the Closing with Confidence educational series for the National MBA and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Spectra Bank in Fort Worth.

Hailing from Texas, Kevin enjoys all sports and is a baseball nerd, pouring over box scores nightly to do his part to getting his beloved Rangers to their second World Championship. He loves spending time with his family—Janet and their four children and their families—hiking, kayaking, picnicking, traveling…all things fun!

Under the Illinois Community Reinvestment Act (ILCRA), the Secretary of the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Secretary) evaluates our record of helping to meet the lending needs of this community consistent with safe and sound operations. The Secretary also takes this record into account when deciding on certain applications submitted by us.

Your involvement is encouraged.

You are entitled to certain information about our operations and our performance under the ILCRA, including, for example, information about our additional full-service office(s), such as their location and services provided at them; the public section of our most recent ILCRA Performance Evaluation, prepared by the Secretary; and comments received from the public relating to our performance in helping to meet community credit needs, as well as our responses to those comments. You may review this information today.

At least 30 days before the beginning of each quarter, the Secretary publishes a nationwide list of the covered mortgage licensees that are scheduled for ILCRA examination in that quarter. You may send written comments about our performance in helping to meet community lending needs to (name and address of official at covered mortgage licensee) and the Secretary. Your letter, together with any response by us, will be considered by the Secretary in evaluating our ILCRA performance and may be made public.

You may ask to look at any comments received by the Secretary. You may also request from the Secretary an announcement of our applications covered by the ILCRA filed with the Secretary.
